It's been all hands on deck as we prepare for the 2024 show!
The grounds are in tip-top shape, the shade is plentiful, and the whole site is looking fantastic.
Traders and exhibitors have booked their sites and we have some new and exciting food alternatives to tempt your taste buds.
Our Projects
Here's an insight into our current and planned projects...
Cattle yards
2021 was a busy year for the show committee. Many hours have gone into the construction of replacement cattle yards. The old yards were made of timber and after many years of service just simply needed to be updated.
Our new cattle yards are constructed from steel and have been sturdily built by our volunteers so should give decades of service.
So as you're walking around the grounds on the show weekend, please take a look at their fabulous handiwork.
Shade sails
Not only does your committee listen to you, the human, we also have an ear for the cattle.
This year be sure to check out the new shade sails over the "spent cattle" yards.
There are also new sails over the "cut out" yards and, because we care, we placed sails over the standing area for the competitors.
